SEPTEMBER 11, 2001

Los Angeles, the City of Angels got a pass on September 11, 2001. On that day terrorists carried out the infamous attack on New York City and killed 2,996 people. It was the second biggest attack on U.S. soil since Pearl Harbor and a day no one will forget. It was later named Patriot Day to honor the fallen. This was not the first attack however by a terrorist group on New York City. In 1993, the World Trade Towers were unsuccessfully attacked. September 11, 2001 was merely unfinished business. Once fixated on a target the terrorists will continue their attacks until their mission is completed.

Reports state that Los Angeles was on their list that day and the terrorist’s just didn't have enough personnel to hit the West Coast simultaneously.

It’s now September 11, 2014. The terrorists have returned and this is the story of Patriot Day in Los Angeles.
